FCHFight Card HQ

Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

In short

There are no accounts and no sign-up. Fighter searches and time-zone conversions run in your browser and are never sent to us. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits. It shows no advertising yet; this page will be updated before that changes.

Who we are

Fight Card HQ is a free reference for UFC fight cards, fighters' next fights, records and fight histories. This policy explains what happens to information when you use it.

What we collect

No personal data. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other identifying information, and there are no accounts.

Searches stay on your device. The fighter search and the conversion of fight times into your time zone happen in your browser. What you type is not sent to us.

We collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics: which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world visitors are, and what kind of device they use. See Analytics below.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics sets cookies. They are first-party cookies used to tell repeat visits from new ones. They are not used for advertising.

The site stores one item in your browser's local storage: your choice of light or dark theme, under the key theme. It contains no information about you and is never sent to a server.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, configured for measurement only:

Google processes this data as our processor and may store it outside your country, under Google's privacy policy. You can block it with Google's opt-out add-on or any content blocker; the site works the same either way.

How long data is kept

Event-level analytics data is kept for at most 14 months, after which Google deletes it. Aggregate totals remain but cannot be traced to any visit.

Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, our legal basis for analytics is legitimate interest — understanding which pages are useful. The data is aggregate, not used for advertising, never sold, and you can opt out at any time. Storing your theme choice is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for, so it needs no consent.

Hosting and server logs

The site, including fighter photos, is served as static files by Cloudflare, which may keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser) for security and to keep the service running. We do not use them to profile anyone. Pages link to other sites (for example Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons for photo and history credits); their own privacy policies apply once you follow a link.

Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, export and erase personal data about you. We hold no account or contact data about you, so for most of these there is nothing to retrieve or delete. Questions go to themicrosasscompany@gmail.com; we aim to answer within 30 days. You may also complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

The site is meant for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this changes — for example when advertising is introduced — this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the date at the top revised.
